The Ruby Sea (X:2.2, Y:36.6, Z:-9.0)

The Palace of Lost Souls

Nestled on the sands of the Turquoise Trench, a thousand thousand fathoms below the surface of the Ruby Sea, is Shisui of the Violet Tides. A resplendent palace erected by Raen refugees who fled under water to escape the constant wars that raged upon the land, its unique beauty is nigh unparalleled. The light, however, quickly fades from its once-peaceful halls as sinister wraiths from the void pour forth, seizing the souls of all its occupants, including that of the Ruby Princess. Now, none but the Warrior of Light can save Shisui of the Violet Tides from the darkness that threatens to engulf it whole...

Bosses

Amikiri

In this tank-and-spank fight, the boss primarily uses Sharpstrike, dealing moderate damage to its primary target. It is important to use cooldowns and heal as necessary. Periodically, the boss will target a single player and drop a puddle AoE under them, immobilizing the target and nearby players. The boss will then immediately move to the stunned target and begin casting Shuck, which usually results in the target's death. While casting Shuck, one of the boss's legs becomes targetable. Destroying the leg interrupts the cast, causing the boss to fall onto its back and become vulnerable. Additionally, a Kamikiri add will occasionally spawn, and the three non-tank players will be marked for Digest. If the Kamikiri spawns while the boss is casting Shuck, Digest instead targets the three players not targeted by Shuck. The attack leaves a water puddle under each target, causing Dropsy as long as a player stands in it. If the Kamikiri add is killed before Digest's cast completes, the cast is interrupted.

Ruby Princess

The boss in the room will periodically use the Seduce ability, causing anyone hit by it to slowly move towards the boss. Immediately after Seduce, the boss will unleash the Coriolis Kick, a large circular area of effect attack that will hit the Seduced players. To avoid being hit by Seduce, each player should run into one of the four boxes located around the outside of the arena. This will give them the Old debuff. The box can only be used once until the next Seduce phase, so each player should choose one box and avoid running into it except to avoid the Seduce effect. The boss will also periodically cast Abyssal Volcano, which creates a large circular area of effect and marks two players with an area of effect that will track them. Affected players should continuously move out of this effect while also avoiding the boxes. Additionally, the boss will occasionally use Tornadogenesis on its primary target, dealing a moderate amount of damage. Players should use their cooldowns and heal as needed during this phase.

Shisui Yohi

During the boss fight, the boss will use Foul Nail on its primary target, dealing two attacks for moderate damage. It is important for players to use cooldowns and heal as necessary to mitigate the damage. Shisui Yohi, another enemy in the fight, will cast Thick Fog, which inflicts group-wide damage and fills the arena with water, hiding the boss. When this happens, three Churn enemies will spawn and apply a stacking debuff called Dropsy until they are killed. Once all three Churns are defeated, Shisui Yohi will re-enter the battlefield. While in the Thick Fog phase, the boss will move around and create bubbles in the arena. Standing in these bubbles will damage players, and the boss will re-emerge from them. When the boss re-enters the arena after the Churns are destroyed, it will immediately cast Black Tide, dealing moderate damage to players near it and debuffing them with Vulnerability Up. It is crucial for players to avoid standing in the area of the arena where the ripples are located to avoid the boss's attacks. Periodically, the boss will summon two Shark adds, Naishi-no-jo and Naishi-no-Kami, which will target specific players with a line AoE attack called Bite and Run. It is essential to quickly kill these adds before they can execute their rush attack. The Naishi-no-jo add will randomly target a DPS player, while the Naishi-no-Kami add will target the healer and take longer to complete its cast. After summoning the shark adds, the boss will perform a gaze attack called Mad Stare, which debuffs affected players with Hysteria, causing them to become uncontrollable and wander the arena. To avoid this attack, players should turn away before the cast finishes. It is important to note that if the Shark adds are still alive when the boss enters the next Thick Fog phase, they will be hidden and untargetable but can still perform their rush attacks. This can result in unexpected damage spikes and potential wipes if not properly managed.
